Seeking Wisdom, Pharmas Are. Yes, Hmmm.

If you are a Star Wars fan – and I know many of you are – you’ll remember Yoda as the small, green, wise character that doled out sage wisdom and advice (often in backwards-speak) to his protégé’ Luke Skywalker. What we love about Yoda is his wisdom, his age-old advice, and his humility. Advice included, for example, 

  • “Do or do not…there is no try.”
  • “Train yourself to let go of everything you fear to lose.”
  • “Always pass on what you have learned.”

Yoda is one clever dude. That’s why we were particularly flattered when industry publication MM&M linked Intouch Solutions’ ability to counsel and advise with that of Yoda’s. (In this case: Intouch advises pharmaceutical companies on their social media programs.)

“Having a great handle on the technology—and being able to handle the perils that occasionally come with it—has been one of the drivers of Intouch’s growth. Take social media as an example. When the agency launched its social media group back in 2008, clients were intrigued but cautious (owing at least in part to the FDA’s silence on such matters until recently).
