Last night, in the colorful offices of Google’s New York headquarters, Rebeca Bechily, Group Marketing Manager at Baxalta U.S. and Jordan Deatherage, Director Social Media Strategy at Intouch Solutions shared insights from Baxalta’s Instagram program for the Bleeding Disorders Community. The program is featured in a new book, Pharma 3D – Rewriting the script for marketing in the digital age. The event represented the book’s official launch, and was hosted by the three collaborators on the publication, McKinsey & Company, Google and the Wharton School.

Bechily and Deatherage spoke about the significance of connecting with patients on a public platform even in a highly regulated industry, as well as the importance of keeping up with the changing social landscape.
