Thursday … who doesn’t love a Thursday? It’s the day before Friday! And since 2006, Thursday has been the day devoted to “throwing back.” When asked about the term, #TBT’s unintentional creator, Matt Halfhill, said that Thursday is about “allowing yourself to take a break from the news and have a moment to celebrate what happened in the past.” We couldn’t agree more. So in the spirit of the day, we thought it would be fun to take a moment to celebrate some of Intouch’s past successes.
Hard Work Pays Off
We’re proud to have made our mark by providing more than typical agency services, and over the years, we’ve been recognized by industry-leading publications for our hard work. Did you know Intouch Solutions has been nominated Agency of the Year five times and named Agency of the Year four times in the past five years?
According to Med Ad News, Intouch was named 2010 Agency of the Year (Category III) because it “experienced a breakout year in 2009, achieving 14 new account wins, adding 62 new employees, and winning 12 awards. In 2009, Intouch became part of a growing trend of digital agencies taking the lead on strategic and creative services.”
In 2012, Med Ad News once again chose Intouch as Agency of the Year (Category II), this time stating, “In 2011, Intouch Solutions proved that rethinking the traditional model can reap immense rewards.”
We had so much to celebrate in 2014. Last year, in an article recognizing its picks for Top 100 Agencies, Medial Marketing & Media’s Larry Dobrow described Intouch as “a David that can go toe-to-toe with network-agency Goliaths.” 2014 also marked our 15th anniversary, and we were gifted with (well, actually, we earned) two major awards — MM&M’s All-Star Agency of the Year and PM360’s Best Advertising Agency — and were finalists for two others — Med Ad News’ Agency of the Year (Category I) and MM&M’s Large Healthcare Agency of the Year.
Intouch EVP Wendy Blackburn isn’t surprised that a digital agency like Intouch keeps pulling in such major accolades. “Roles and responsibilities have shifted,” she said. “We were born digital, and our role has expanded dramatically into strategy, research, consulting, media, creative, content and other leadership roles. We’re essentially reinventing what it means to be an agency.”
In Good Company
This year, we are thrilled to be among MM&M’s 2015 finalists for Large Healthcare Agency of the Year. We congratulate all the nominated agencies and look forward to October, when this year’s winners are announced. Cheers!
