The Division of Drug Marketing, Advertising, and Communications (DDMAC) has announced a series of “Enforcement Webinars” to give key stakeholders the chance to ask clarifying questions about Warning Letters and Untitled Letters the agency issued. The first will be held May 3, 2011 from 2:00 to 2:30pm ET to review letters issued from January 2011 to April 2011. The public is invited to attend. It’s important to note that the number of letters issued by DDMAC has significantly decreased from 18 to four since this time last year.

“These focused Webinars will support DDMAC’s mission to protect the public health by assuring prescription drug information is truthful, balanced and accurately communicated,” they announced on the FDA website.

Given that these webinars are short, only about a half hour, they may not be able to answer all questions from attendees and whether they will lengthen future webinars is unknown. To sign up for the webinar, you can register here.
