Burak Gokoglu Discusses His Eleven Years at Intouch Solutions

Intouch Team

Posted by

Intouch’s Technical Architect Applications Developer Burak Gokoglu chats about his career with the company and what he sees for the future.

Tell us about your first week at Intouch

Intouch was my first job out of college. My transition from school to a full-time job was a big change. I remember being overwhelmed the first few weeks. I had just completed college, and yet I quickly realized there was so much information out there I didn’t know. Everybody was very kind and supportive of my never-ending questions. I knew I had found a great place.

What is the most dramatic change you have witnessed during your time at Intouch?

Intouch started as a very small company. I have been here from nearly the beginning. The company’s original focus started with building websites, but due to upper management’s forward-thinking and innovative mindsets, Intouch has led the way using interactive marketing within healthcare. Intouch utilizes technology as a vehicle to deliver targeted messages quickly and directly. Today we do so much more than websites — we are multichannel with a digital edge. I can’t wait to see where we are as a company in another decade.

What do you like the most about working at Intouch?

Some of my favorite things about working for Intouch are the flexible hours and all the great benefits we receive (including 401k, bonuses, healthcare, paid vacation, etc.).

Where do you see Intouch and the industry as a whole in 15 years?

The industry is changing faster than I ever imagined. Healthcare and digital are two things that will never go away, so the possibilities are endless. As technology evolves, so will the interaction between pharma companies (sales reps), healthcare professionals, patients, C-suites, etc. The Affordable Care Act is one of the biggest changes in the healthcare landscape in over 30 years. Only time will tell what this means for our industry.

What is your favorite pop culture from 1999?

Fight Club.

It is very refreshing to see a young man grow with a growing company. Good to hear your optimistic view. Being in healthcare myself, I agree with you - there is a lot more coming for us. Wish you all the best and may you grow more with Intouch.
