“I happened to be attracted to Intouch 14 years ago when I was looking for companies doing interesting things with the Web.”

Q

What technological innovation in the last few years are you the most excited about?

The ability for pharma brands to provide hyper-targeted messaging, in real-time, to a variety of different audiences and see the actual impact of these campaigns on the brand’s revenue.

Q

How many languages do you speak?

One. Unless HTML counts?

Q

What was the last good book you read?

A Storm of Swords. I’m currently reading through the A Song of Ice and Fire books. It’s very helpful for understanding office politics. ;)

Q

What was your first paying job?

I can’t remember the place, but when I was 14, I got my first summer job working at a print shop collating coupon books using these giant machines. It was loud and hot work.

Q

What was your favorite college course?

Pop Culture of the 1970s. The economic disruption, progression of social values, and technology advancement made it a very interesting time for the music and arts. It also helped that we could watch Star Wars and play Pong for homework. ;)

Q

If you could have lunch with any person, living or dead (other than a relative), who would it be?

Andy Samberg. A little humor over lunch is always a good thing to get the creative thinking going for the afternoon.

Q

How did you get started in this industry?

I happened to be attracted to Intouch 14 years ago when I was looking for companies doing interesting things with the Web. Once I saw Intouch was building online patient communities (before the social boom hit), I was hooked.

Q

What chore do you absolutely hate doing?

Dusting.

Q

What is your favorite drink?

Any kind of craft beer—the more unique, the better. Dogfish Head Brewery is one of my favorites because they make very unique beers. Their tagline is, “Off-centered ales for off-centered people.” I always like trying something new.

Q

Why were you given your name?

My parents really liked Christopher. No unique story here, but I would have been a Sarah if I was a girl. :)

Q

Do you have any hidden talents?

I enjoy oil painting and drawing.

Q

If you could live during any time period, which would it be?

Now. As harrowing as things may seem at times, I love where the world is today. We are seeing so many societal, economic and technologic advances. It’s a very exciting time.

Q

Are you a morning person or a night owl?

I’m more of a night owl, but having three kids is slowly turning me into a morning person.
