Creative Director:
The Creative Director (CD) oversees his/her creative team (copywriters and interactive designers) to help develop and produce the agency’s creative product for clients. CD’s conceptualize ideas, and inspire conceptualization from subordinates for client’s online communications. The CD is involved in strategy development with the Account team and ensures concepts are on strategy and creative execution meets quality and brand standards. The CD has a very solid background in design or copywriting and online communications. Additionally, an intimate knowledge of marketing/advertising and digital principles is necessary to give team direction, ensure work remains on schedule and meet client’s expectations. In addition, the CD often sells the agencies work to clients and as such must be a powerful presenter.
The Creative Director Role requires:
• Bachelor’s degree with
• 10+ years of creative and design experience
• Pharma experience a plus
• Able to successfully manage projects of all scopes through the Creative Services lifecycle.
• Knowledge of marketing/advertising principles, methods and techniques.
• Knowledge of digital design/web development including strategies and design. Able to ascertain what is and isn’t doable within a given timeframe and is able to offer alternative solutions.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
• Mentor and manage the creative team from concept to completion of the projects with strong leadership
• Able to meet client and project deadlines.
