Department Overview:

The CRM team uses intelligence and technology for relationship marketing strategies that facilitate communication between clients and their consumers. As a member of the overall Strategic Services department, they provide strategic and operational support to the account teams, resulting in measureable engagements between our clients and their potential and existing customer base. In addition, CRM implements and enables channel integration for an in-depth understanding of consumers’ needs and behaviors.

CRM Strategist:

The CRM Strategists acts as a main contributor to client CRM projects, from campaign pitch stage, through strategy development, and up to the implementation phase. As part of the overall CRM team, the CRM Strategist will work alongside account services, creative services, technical, and CRM operations teams to develop comprehensive strategies for identifying and engaging with our clients’ patients, their caregivers, and their healthcare providers. The CRM Strategist will be relied upon for thought leadership, seeking out new ideas and identifying industry trends, and communicating those to our clients in the form of white papers, POVs, etc. In a similar fashion, they will serve as a resource across internal disciplines (including Social, Mobile, and Analytics teams) to ensure delivery of cohesive engagement programs.  

This is an entrepreneurial role that requires a strong desire to “build your own business” from both existing and potential Intouch clients. The role also requires strong project management skills, and the ability to work across many different groups, both internal and external.

Key areas of focus:

• 50% project work – Serve as subject matter expert on CRM related projects, driving strategy development from concept to detailed execution plans. Specific deliverables include audience segmentation plans, contact strategies, campaign playbooks, and contributing to technical requirement documentation.

• 15% new business development – Contribute to RFP responses, pitch creation, and occasional pitch participation. Serve as “spokesperson” for CRM-related opportunities.

• 15% client development / business cultivation – Work with account teams to identify, capture, and grow opportunities with existing clients. Support account teams by initiating and cultivating key relationships with client contacts, and serving as a go-to resource for client-specific requests.

• 10% internal training – support account services by sharing industry expertise and Intouch capabilities

• 5% content creation – generate content for use on intouchsol.com, general POVs, etc.

• 5% misc duties as assigned

Skills / background / experience:

• Bachelors degree required.

• Minimum of 7 years experience in direct / database marketing with an emphasis on digital channels. 

    o Experience creating campaign playbooks and managing CRM projects

    o Strong expertise in data segmentation and contact strategies

• Experience working directly with clients in a lead or support role.

    o Pharmaceutical or medical products/services industry experience a plus

    o Advertising / marketing agency experience a plus

• Ability to collaborate effectively at all levels within Intouch and externally with clients.

• Able to work independently, be self motivated and possess excellent communication skills.

• Experience working in a team-based, project environment.

• Must be able to handle multiple priorities in a fast paced and changing environment.

• Demonstrated problem solving skills.

• Strong written, presentation and verbal communication skills.

• Excellent interpersonal skills.

• Periodic travel may be required.
